Drainage Request

Short-term flooding at intersection of State Street and Bishop Street. The capacity of the curb inlet catch basin could not keep up with the recent storm. The grate-style structure across the street did not have any issues. Post-storm, water is draining, but not all of it. The low point appears to be somewhere in the crosswalk several feet away. The recent milling and paving may have affected drainage patterns. Please check the inlet and clean it out if need be. The low point problem should be a punch list priority for the paving contractor.
