REPOSTING ISSUE IGNORED TWICE BEFORE: The bicycle lane on the summit of East Rock has faded almost completely away. Cars routinely park along it, narrowing the road to the point where it is dangerous for cyclists or pedestrians when cars drive past (sometimes in the wrong direction). Please repaint the bicycle route and begin enforcing the parking regulations by issuing warnings to violators. (Hold off on tickets for a while, please, since many people have grown accustomed to parking wherever they choose with no consequences.) If a cyclist is injured or killed on this stretch of road, it will be the city's responsibility. Financial as well as moral.
